I was the awkward kid growing up. I hated getting any kind of attention. My mom put me through beauty training school so I could learn how to put it on myself but that's the extent of my knowledge of makeup. To me it was just one more thing to do in the morning to get ready. I never left home without at least foundation and eyeliner..lots of eyeliner.
I moved to St. Louis and was introduced to production makeup from my boyfriend (now husband), Matt. From there, it was getting my hands on anyone or thing that had info on it.
For me makeup is a creative outlet and a way to be a part of something bigger...doesn't matter what. I'm honored to just be a part of it.
Apart from being a makeup artist, I have one amazing husband and a gorgeous bright-eyed baby girl who are the center of my life! They are the reason I smile and want to live this crazy life day after day.
